TAG Tours was born from our work with young people and our love for the culture, history, and energy of New York City. Through The Community Initiatives of New York, we wanted to create something that did more than simply show people around—we wanted to create experiences that tell the stories and show the value of our communities while creating real opportunities for local youth.
Our tours connect visitors and New Yorkers alike to the history, music, art, food, landmarks, businesses, and people that make NYC neighborhoods special. At the same time, TAG Tours gives young people hands-on exposure to tourism, hospitality, entrepreneurship, customer service, storytelling, and employment.
We started in Harlem because Harlem is home—but our vision has always been bigger. TAG Tours is about experiencing New York City through the people and culture that make New York, New York.
